Time flies when you're having fun ... so the saying goes. Ken continues to "tinker" on his passion and is very appreciative of his ongoing support by loyal customers.

He finds himself at a time in life where his sons are beginning to discuss their plans for first cars. At this stage a 1969 Camaro, 1939 Dodge pickup and mini trucks are being checked out! Ahhh, long nights ahead...

The Gippsland Car Club play a large role in his life as he relaxes with the odd hill climb, take his sons to their hill climb and khanacross events and enjoys the role of President of this fine club.

Due to long work hours recently; Ken has decided to throttle back in 2010 to spend more time with his family.

The Feb 7th Victorian bushfires affected all Australians. At SWRC we have been saddened by the loss of friends. Sadly Luke Jacobs (driver of SWRC sponsored Drift Car), his father Alan (friend and mentor to Ken) and his mother, Miros passed away while fighting the Churchill bushfire at their home in Koornalla.

They will be remembered with a smile because that is what they brought to so many people. See photos below of Alan and Luke's dream and passion.

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all those touched by these bushfires.



A very warm welcome to 2009 for all our readers and customers; we sincerely hope it is a happy and healthy year for you, filled with many fulfilled dreams and memorable moments.

The team at Streetwize Rod and Custom wish to take this opportunity to congratulate Mark Course on winning "Australia's Coolest Ride" at the 2009 Victorian Hot Rod Show for the 3rd time. An outstanding achievement which we are proud to be a part of.

This follows hot on the heels of Mark winning "Top Open Hot Rod" and "Top Special Effects Paint", also coming 2nd in "Top Bodywork" and 3rd in "Top Undercarriage/Driveline" against stiff competition at the recent Summernats 22 held in Canberra at the beginning of January, 2009. He was also honoured with a Top 10 appearance.

We hope to soon have "in the build" photos for this magnificent vehicle.

Currently we are working on fulfilling a number of customers' dreams. These include a classy Boydster III owned by a South Australian customer, and a wildly modified Boydster III owned by a customer with big dreams.

Ken is in the USA at the moment, getting plenty of amazing ideas for your next dream.
